Indigo Vizual
Cloud-based digital signage platform for scheduling and broadcasting content to screens from one dashboard. I worked across the React front end and NestJS API on the content editor, playlists and scheduling, screen management, and integrations with Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Microsoft Teams, and Canva.
- React
- NestJS
- MySQL
- AWS

01
The problem
Indigo Vizual sells digital signage to companies that need to communicate with employees and customers on screens spread across many locations. Their customers wanted to publish once and have the right content appear on the right screens at the right time, mix their own designs with live feeds from social media and tools like Microsoft Teams, and manage all of it without an IT team. The platform needed to grow fast to keep up with those expectations while staying reliable for screens that run around the clock.

The solution
I worked as a full-stack engineer on the platform for three years. On the React front end I built and maintained the content editor, the playlist and scheduling screens, and the screen management views that show which players are online and what they are showing. On the NestJS API I worked on the integration layer that pulls in content from Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Microsoft Teams, and Canva, the scheduling logic that decides what each player should display, and the MySQL data model behind it, all deployed on AWS.

The result
The platform grew into a product that customers manage themselves, from one screen in a lobby to fleets of players across sites, without needing support for everyday tasks. Integrations that started as requests from a few customers became core features, and the scheduling engine handled the edge cases that live signage throws at you, such as time zones, offline players, and content that expires.
