Event RSVP

Hosts running invite-only events were managing guest lists in spreadsheets and RSVPs over email and text. Plus-ones were forgotten, updates had to be sent to everyone by hand, and on the day the door team worked from a printed list that was already out of date.

I built an event app on Next.js and Supabase. Each event gets a page where invited guests RSVP and add plus-ones, hosts manage the guest list and send updates from a dashboard, and a check-in view lets the door team search and check people in from a phone while attendance updates live.

Hosts stopped chasing RSVPs by hand, guests got updates the moment they were sent, and check-in became a quick search instead of a scan down a printed list. Hosts also ended up with accurate attendance data for planning the next event.
