Delivery Tracker

A local delivery business dispatched orders by phone and had no live view of where its drivers were or which orders were done. Customers called to ask where their delivery was, and the dispatcher relayed the question to the driver and back.

I built a tracking system with a React dispatcher dashboard and a mobile-friendly driver view, backed by a Node.js API on AWS. Dispatchers see every order and driver on a map, drivers update status and leave notes as they go, and customers get a live status link for their delivery.

The dispatcher stopped acting as a switchboard, customers check status themselves, and the business gained a record of every delivery for resolving disputes and planning routes.
