The problem
A content team publishing several articles a week was using a general-purpose CMS that fought them at every step: no scheduling, a media library that was hard to search, and no review step before an article went live. Publishing on time depended on someone being at their desk.

The solution
I built an editorial CMS on Payload with PostgreSQL and a Next.js front end. Writers draft posts in a rich text editor, manage a searchable media library, and schedule articles to go live automatically. Editors review drafts before publication, with roles that separate writing from publishing.

The result
Articles go live on schedule without anyone waiting at their desk, editors catch problems before readers do, and the team works from one tool designed around the way they actually publish.
