Secure client portal for an agency that was drowning in status emails. Each client logs in to see the status of their projects, download deliverables and files, and view their invoices, while the team updates everything from one admin view and the back-and-forth drops to a minimum.

The problem

An agency was spending a large part of every week answering the same client questions by email: what is the status of my project, where is the latest file, has this invoice been sent. Deliverables were shared through a mix of attachments and cloud links, and clients often worked from outdated versions.

The solution

I built a client portal on Next.js and Supabase with a Tailwind UI. Each client logs in to see the status of their projects, download the latest deliverables and files, and view their invoices. The team updates everything from a single admin view, and row-level security ensures clients only ever see their own data.

The result

Status emails fell away because clients can check for themselves, files are always the latest version, and the team has one place to keep client information current. The portal also made the agency look more organized to its clients, which mattered as much as the time saved.
